Mi-Fliss |
Not
many can boast of building the Hip Hop culture in Nigeria. From assisting in
pushing projects to showing the “ropes” to upcoming artists, as much as he has
and still does. To affiliating and the emancipation cause of Hip Hop in Nigeria
back 1999 he has worked with/assisted groups such as Tha Kaliphate, Thorobreds,
Nuff Noyz, Str8 Buttah & several others. This is no other than the Hip Hop
icon, performer, producer, ardent lover and propagator of Hip Hop culture
worldwide, Mi-Fliss.
In
2013, Mi-Fliss will be releasing several projects firstly his Beat Tape Project
Series “(B.P.M.-Beat Producin’ Monsta)” with the first installment hitting the
net in a couple of days for freedownload & the “Love, Sex, Relationships
& Blow Jobs E.P.” in a couple of weeks. “Love, Sex, Relationships &
Blow Jobs” is a collage of works influenced in and around his love life &
sexual escapades, One of such contents is his new single titled Ode To The Love Of My Life (A.D.A.O.B.I.)
off his debut LP & the first course meal off “Love, Sex, Relationships & Blow Jobs E.P.”, A True life story
& dedication to his then Fiancée (now ex) which was never meant to be
released. With The month of Love around the corner this is a song that would
surely grasp true lovers (Heterosexuals that is!) & serve as a soundtrack
as well as the rest of the project itself.
Continuing with his collaborative trend, he
has recorded tracks. One of such with Capital Dreams’ Artist/Producer Tha
Suspect, a club meets street frenzy cut titled “We Bad O!” with Tha suspect on
the helm of production & Hook. Another in the works is with the chubby
witty Ibo Boy MC, Ill Bliss on a SARZ produced beat and a host of other acts on
his debut.
“I finally feel compelled to release a certain
number of tracks due to several fans & friends’ word on not having much of
my materials to buy/download. And the “Love, Sex, Relationships & Blow Jobs
E.P.”, was just to show how better I am at making Love & sexual related
songs better than most known Rappers and ease the myopic view of Mi-Fliss as
just a Hardcore rapper. I am a 360 degrees type of MC/Rapper/lyricist. Be
rapping In Yoruba or English, a hardcore or party club joint I get it in. I’m
better than your top 5 celebrity MCees pronto”. He said when asked on his
decision to release multiple materials this year.
