After delivering a stellar One Mic Naija session in June, the One
Mic Naija team is bringing another packed edition to GET Arena, Lagos, on Sunday
August 26th.
In a press release issued this
morning, organisers announced there will be top-notch performances by
Adol – a singer, Songwriter
and a performing artiste. He has an album to his name titled Orin which was
released 2011.
Bibi – 22 years old Bibi participated in the 1st ever Nigerian
Idol, with impressive performances she came 4th at the contest. Her genre of
music can be defined as a mix of urban highlife.
Christine – an Alternative/Pop & Afro-soul artiste and a
guitarist. She recently recorded a live session for a new EP titled Felicia.
She also has an album titled Life Under Construction, released in 2011.
Ese Peters – recently signed to Aboriginal Music, Ese Peters is a
Singer, Songwriter and a musician who is trying to change the world one song at
a time. He released an acoustic EP which covered popular songs last year.
JPX – a Computer Science undergraduate of University of Lagos is an
instrumentalist, a producer, singer, and a choreographer. Still exploring the
diversity in his art, JPX can be found experimenting with different genres of
music.
Winner of #RiseoftheReal competition – #RiseoftheReal competition
is a tooxclusive.com initiative in conjunction with One mic naija. Itunu won
the maiden edition with the song This is Love. ------
Flowssick - signed to kollertunz, Flowssick has recently proved his
presence in the industry with his singles and a video. He has one of the
biggest hits of last year so far “Lowkey” and is a part of the new generation
of young artistes causing a spur in the music industry.
Host Kunle KB Bello will be co-hosting with a special guest as Kel will be out of town for this edition. Fans can
vote who they want to see co-host with KB by using the hashtag #OneMicNaijaCoHost
As usual, it will be an evening
of fun, networking, and powerful live performances as the One Mic Naija band
will back each artiste!
